Elizabeth Simos [Queen Mary] was chosen as the winner of the Clive M. Schmitthoff Essay Competition for her work "The CISG: A Lost Cause in the UK?" The article will appear in the next edition of the Vindobona Law Journal.
Law students whose essays have previously been awarded First Place in this annual event have been from New Zealand, Australia, the People's Republic of China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Kazakstan, South Africa, Spain and the United States. Professors are encouraged to invite their students to consider participating in the Clive Schmitthoff Essay Competition of the Pace Institute and the College of Queen Mary.
